Belowkey is a visual artist born, raised, and based in Queens, New York. His work is best characterized as colorful and playful with nods to his graffiti roots and NYC upbringing. The artist graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design in 2013 and has gone on to paint countless murals. When he is not drawing or painting on canvases, he can be found painting walls around the world. His work has been featured in numerous arts and culture digital and print publications. The artist is perhaps best known for his signature original characters, such as Hip-Hopula and the OG Monkey.
